Resorts on south side of the island

We begin our walk through Hvar resorts in lagoons on the south side of the island, east of city of Hvar. All lagoons are expressly sunny, which gives them special atmosphere and all are surrounded by vineyards and olive orchards.
Visiting untouched lagoons around Hvar plays a great role in enjoying your holidays. These can be reached by car, bicycle, or inspiring walks through the Mediterranean landscape. You can swim in almost every lagoon, which usually has restaurant or refreshment corner of some kind.
On the south side of Hvar are following lagoons:
Mekićevica (2,5 km far)
Milna (4 km far)
Zaraće (6,5 km far)
Dubovica (8 km far)
Pišćena (8,5 km far)
On the same, southern side of the island there are Sveta Nedilja, and Jagodna that are best accessed by car or bus since these villages are reached through the tunnel next to village of Pitve (near Jelsa).
